On the chart

After all of his malabsorption issues as an infant, tests for Celiac (followed by one year of a strict gluten-free diet) and Cystic Fibrosis (that was horrible), a failure-to-thrive diagnosis (though the doc said 'he is thriving but he is so small I don't really know how to code this') and visits to the Children's Hospital, the verdict is in: He's just not going to be a big guy. He is totally fine, just ya know, little. He is three-and-a-half and weighs in at a whopping 27 pounds. He is my 34 inches of tiny, cotton-topped, chatty perfection and for the first time since his early infancy he is officially on the growth chart.
