Well, thank goodness

"Diamond" Bob Diamond, the American ex-Patriot now former head of the Britain-based Barclays is resigning in disgrace -- but as an American, one-percenter, and Mitt Romney's base he does not want to go down without a golden parachute:

The departing Barclays boss, who has been paid a total of £98m since he joined the Barclays' board in 2006, could be in line for up to £22m if all his contractual entitlements, free shares and outstanding bonuses are honoured.

It also appears that his daughter (named Nell, that's right "Nell Diamond") is like the girl Mitt Romney never had.
