Revising his "foreign policy" credentials

In a week when it was doubted even by sympathizers that he wrote an editorial on Israel in which he claimed authorship -- "Eight hundred words? That's not the Rick Perry I know" -- sudden events changed everything:

Security forces in Yemen have opened fire on protesters in the capital, Sanaa, killing at least 26 people and injuring hundreds

and

At least four people were killed across Syria on Sunday, the Local Coordination Committees reported, as violence between protesters and Syrian security forces continued unabated.
