Papa John's CEO John Schnatter says that Obamacare will result in a $0.11 to $0.14 price increase per pizza, or $0.15 to $0.20 cents per order, Pizza Marketplace, a trade publication, reportsOh poor you -- and your soon to be slightly less unfortunate employees.
Imagine, Mr. Schnatter how much you would have to pretend you had to raise prices if you followed the law across the board?
In mid-September, 2011, a federal court in Missouri granted conditional class certification in a lawsuit brought on behalf of all delivery drivers who have been employed by Papa John's Pizza in the past three years. The suit alleges that Papa John's did not pay its delivery drivers in accordance with federal and state minimum wage laws. But then again, these folks had nothing to do with your success in your mind, or Mitt Romney's -- so why should they get paid like they are supposed to or health care coverage?
